First Impression can Make Bad Judgements Constantly

clean-shaven A good first impression is the beginning of an opportunity, decisions and good relationships. Conversely, a bad first impression can be a source of trouble for the next. The good news is, we only have one chance to make a good first impression. And the bad news is, a bad first impression can make bad judgments constantly, even generalized to the aspects of the other, even though we've tried to fix it.
On many occasions, we often judge people by first impression created. When interviewing prospective employees, ninety percent of HR professionals place more importance on being well-groomed than even a firm handshake.
A clean-shaven face was identified specifically as a critical grooming cue. Human Resource professionals cited facial stubble as one of the biggest red flags when meeting a job candidate for the first time, while 83% percent said that being clean-shaven is at least somewhat important in making a good first impression. Other major areas of concern for HR professionals include body odor or sweat stains, and wrinkled and inappropriate or ill-fitting clothing.
