Although Manila not much different with Jakarta, but it seems fair enough to me to make it as the my first abroad destination. Moreover, from the blogging activities, I see the Philippines as active blogger enliven in the virtual world, some even become my best friends.

Manila, the Philippine capital, is Asia’s best-kept secret. The capital of the orient’s only catholic country seems somehow out of place, vibrant with Latin American or Caribbean undertones. Music and dancing are everywhere, and the smiles and laughter rival Bangkok’s in their warmth and enthusiasm. Manila’s intense historical influences – Spanish religion and American consumerism – have led to the saying that the capital has spent “400 years in a convent and 50 in Hollywood”. The result is a city of extremes ready to delight the unsuspecting traveler.

accorhotels Now this is actually the most appropriate time to arrange travel to get there. Why is that? Just because Accorhotels is offering a large scale of discount, right now.

Hotel rates in 27 cities across 10 countries in Asia Pacific are being reduced in Accor Hotels City Super Sale.

Travelers will be able to take advantage of savings of up to 60% when they book on-line between 23 - 29 June, for stays between July 10 and September 30, 2009. Over 250,000 room nights will be on sale, with rates starting as low as US$25 per night.

The 27 cities include Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hanoi, Manila, Mumbai, Sydney and Auckland.

Different rates apply for Accor's various brands, with Sofitel, Pullman, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, All Seasons and Ibis hotels participating, providing a vast range of affordable options during the 2.5 months.

Knowing that, I soon plan a trip to Manila, from the preparation for the immigrations up to the places I will visit. Of course I have to book accommodation immediately in Manila, at the latest on 29 June 2009 if I want to get the discount. Among the hotels there, I more interested to stay at the Sofitel because its facilities accommodate all my needs.
